Introduction
Agaricus Blazei is the dried fruiting body of the fungus Agaricus blazei (family Agaricaceae). The fruiting body consists of a pileus (cap) and a stipe (stem). The pileus is initially hemispherical, maturing into a broadly flattened hemisphere, typically 5-11 cm in diameter. The surface is dry, covered with fibrous scales, and its color ranges from light brown when young to dark brown or chestnut brown at maturity. The stipe is cylindrical, 4-14 cm long and 1-3 cm in diameter, with a white surface. The texture is brittle when fresh but becomes tough upon drying. It has a faint, aromatic odor characteristic of fungi, a mild taste, and a slight nutty aroma.
